Goofy is a Disney cartoon character. He is Mickey and Donald's friend.
He seems kind of dumb, but it actually a very wise, laid back character. His toon nature causes him to survive damage that can kill a normal human.
During the 60s, he was used as a "blue-collar, common man" character, used to show the many terrible things a white American family man has to endure. In that respect, he is the ancestor of Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, Hank Hill and Al Bundy.
In "Goof Troop", he has a son, Max. However, his role isn't as satirical and acid as before and is shown as a caring, compassionate father.
In "House of Mouse", he is the head waiter.
In "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", he is Roger Rabbit's hero and his main inspiration. He gets to meet him in person at the final scene in Marvin Acme's factory, where he comments on Judge Doom's identity.
He appears as Sora's partner in all three "Kingdom Hearts" videogames, helping Sora defeat his enemies. He helps you in battle by using his magic, and can fuse with you to power up Sora in the Valor Form. In the world of "The Little Mermaid", he becomes a sea turtle in order to breath underwater. In the world of "The Lion King", he becomes a land turtle, since antropomorphisized animals aren't allowed in the Pride Lands. In the world of "Tron", he dons the blue circuit jumpsuit everyone dons when they enter the world of Tron.
